Old Wives @ Clash Bar covering Savoy Brown's "I'm Tired"
Tomorrow night New Jersey acts Old Wives featuring Jason Gleason and Tourmaline will perform with Richard Lloyd (formerly of Television) and Demander at Maxwell's for what's sure to be a rockin' night. Doors are at 8pm. $10 at the door. Maxwell's is located on 1039 Washington Ave at 10th Street in Hoboken, New Jersey.
Old Wives is the new psych/jam rock project of former Further Seems Forever and ActionReaction vocalist, Jason Gleason. Former Element 101 vocalist Crissie Verhagen known as Bella Gleason also plays keyboards for the band. You can hear two demos here and see a video of the band performing a cover above.
Tourmaline is the second Jersey act of the night delivering a great dose of rock. The band's song "The Swindle" features Richard Llyod.
Demander, the 3-piece indie/rockers from Brooklyn is headed by vocalist and bassist Karen Correa. She provides a lushful vocal to accompany the driving guitar and dynanic sound of Sivan and David.
Richard Lloyd is best known as a former member of Television. The Pittsburg based rock musician headlines the night.
