Brooklyn punksters Shiragirl have released a new single "Sick Day." It's available for stream here. Tonight is the band's single release party in NYC. They'll perform and world premiere the video for the single.
“Sick Day” is a fast and furious track to keep the adrenaline pumping inciting the sudden urge to call in sick; making the catchy tune a potential bad influence. The newly release single will be part of Conquer Entertainment’s “Paradigm Shift Vol. 1,” a compilation album filled with exclusive material from major and independent/unsigned artists making noise in the industry.
Living in a world where Punk Rock is considered an “All-Boys Club,” Shiragirl takes a no-holds-barred attitude making their own rules and creating music on their own terms with straightforward lyrics and a dynamic stage persona. Led by sexy vocalist, Shira, two dynamic guitarists mixed with a vibrant critically acclaimed drummer, Rainey P., Shiragirl refuses to be pigeonholed creating a perfect fusion of punk, rock and hip hop – a creation they present effortlessly.
