The Union Line @ Rebel, NYC
The Syndicate presented its Conflict of Interest party at Rebel with performances by Fanfarlo, White Denim, The Cringe, and Union Line. Unfortunately I only caught two bands, but they were great performances. Rebel's sound system is wonderful. The floor space is very wide and there were couches on the left side and in the back, making for a relaxed setting. The Union Line were awesome with their three part harmonies, groove, and country-esque vocals with keyboard. The Cringe rocked to and gave a very indie/rock n roll feel. It was certaintly a good pre-CMJ party to get excited for the upcoming showcases and events. Check out London's Fanfarlo, The Cringe, and The Union Line all this week. It's sure to be a great night of indie rock.
