CRUSH (a monthly dance party) is hosting their next “Dance Bands We Love” series featuring Toro Y Moi, Grandchildren, Twin Sister, and VDRK. This month it's at Cameo in Williamsburg, Brooklyn on Thurs., Feb. 25. The show is conveniently located on 93 N. 6th St, a 5 minute walk from the Bedford L Train. Toro Y Moi provides a lush, beautiful soundscape some have called “dreamcore,” “chillwave,” or glo-fi.” Grandchildren is Philly based band with two drum kits, folky vocals, and electronic sounds. Twin Sister is a dream-pop group from Bushwick. The electro NYC VDRK is also on the bill. The show starts at 8pm.
