The DIY Bushwick Festival will feature Brooklyn-based bands, Djs, and artists performing in non-traditional spaces. Nine venues throughout Bushwick will be utilized to showcase these all ages events. The event was organized by Bushwick Music Studios owner, Tito Fleetwood Ladd. The Deli Magazine and Arts in Bushwick aworked together with the Studio to put together the event. Other spaces hosting shows include Party Expo, Goodbye Blue Monday, Brooklyn Fireproof, Castle Braid, The Opera House Lofts, House of Yes, Eastern District, and Northeast Kingdom.
New Jersey's Bern & the Brights performs on the first night, March 24 at the Brooklyn Fireproof along with Danny Ross, Aviation Orange, and Not Blood, Paint. Tickets are just $5. 9pm.
Shows are either free, $5 or $10. Festival passes are $20, Friday/Saturday passes are $10.
