ANNA ROSE is a 24-year-old singer, songwriter, pianist and, primarily, guitarist crazy about rock and roll at its most ruggedly expressive. 'Anna Rose', her current EP, anticipates the June 8, 2010 release of Nomad, her debut collection, with five songs taken from the album. Rose is a true child of rock & roll, a self-taught musician, a songwriter and singer who is one of the most dynamic young performers of the 21st Century. The daughter of a ballet dancer and composer Alan Menken, Anna Rose grew up in an artistic and musical environment. Anna will perform songs from her album at two upcoming shows!
Anna Rose is performing two hometown NYC shows this month. First on Wednesday, May 5th at Rockwood Music Hall, 196 Allen Street,#198, Between Stanton Street and Houston Street, New York, NY.
Then on May 25th she's at Crash Mansion, 199 Bowery (between Spring St and Rivington), New York, NY.
She performs at 10pm on both shows.
