Raleigh, NC 6-piece Annuals will be on a co-headlining tour with Ontario's The Most Serene Republic and NC friends, What Laura Says. The tour is in support of the band's latest, Sweet Sister EP. This release shows off the band's experimental indie-pop sound. The band deliver s5 cool songs that are far from boring. "Turncloaking" features some weird sounds, and some sharp guitar. The keyboards shift about in fun fashion. "Sweet Sister" features some crafty percussion. Recommended for fans of Margot & The Nuclear So and So's, Dear and the Headlights, and Anathallo. Fans of folk would appreciate this band, too.
The band is in Brooklyn on June 18, Hoboken on June 19, and NYC on June 20th. Tickets for Hoboken are $10 here. Brooklyn tickets are $13 here. NYC tickets are $13 here.
