Gold Motel release "Safe In LA" video, announce new tour dates

Gold Motel has released a new music video for "Safe in L.A." from the band's latest album Summer House. It's up at SPIN.com today. The catchy bass line hooks you in and the bright/dark color contrasts of the video make for a great look and hot track! The whole album is really lovely. Soft. Melodic. Sweet. Indie Pop that bursts with a warm, summer jam feeling. The keys add a nice vibe to the rockin' songs and some extra energy. Additionally, the band's entire album is up for stream on their MySpace.

Also, make sure to check out "Fireworks at Midnight." It begins: "Once we were careless kids on the 4th of July, while we watched the fireworks, 20 years went by." Now that's a line to hear on this holiday weekend.  

The band have a few dates lined up in NYC and Philly. First is July 26th at NYC's Angels and Kings. Then July 29th at The Fire in Philly and July 31st at Don Hills. Opening up is Mark Rose, fellow Chicago native, and ex-Spitalfield singer.
