Amy Bezunartea (free "Doubles" MP3 + new album out in November)

FREE DOWNLOAD: Amy Bezunartea- Doubles

Amy Bezunartea could sing a baby to sleep. She could make you cry with her soft voice. She could relieve your stress. Her lyrics only cementing the feeling of sadness. "Doubles" is a sad, yet heartfelt song about her "baby" working too many double shifts at work. The song itself is about her baby-- a lovely someone she has in her life, it seems. This Brooklyn singer songwriter is delicate in the best way with this single. The lyrics are slow and clear and so lovely, that I felt the need to trascribe them (see below).

The single is from Bezunartea's upcoming release on Kiam Records titled Restaurants and Bars, due out on November 2nd. Grab a free download of the song by left clicking and then hitting "save as." You can simply stream the song by clicking the link.

"My baby works doubles, it's such a spell she's under, taking order in her sleep. All those hours on her feet. My baby she works doubles I can't help her with her troubles. I've got my own but I'm not alone. We're not alone. You want to know something that she told me? We were high and we were holding onto dreams that were the same on to sickness still unfolding it was something that she told me, like if only. Some girls they glow in darkness, but by our standards that's not march. Some girls they like to win but instead they'll serve you lunch.
My baby she works doubles it's such a spell that she is under, with every moment passing and all those ?? flashing and everyone is clashing and the money's never lasting and time is only passing, a shadow so dark that it shows the light. Some say it's a vision. Not quite. Not quite."
