Chicago's Dastardly release Americana/folk goodness on 'May You Never...'

Dastardly- May You Never...
Folk/American/Indie
Chicago, IL

There are bands that have boldly stepped to heights that surpass the simple "rock" label. Such is the case with Chicago's Dastardly who have a nice indie-folk/Americana sound. The band is composed of six key players who together craft 7 hardy and heartlfelt songs. The group features acoustic guitar, accordian, mandolin, banjo, and harmonica, making for a diverse musical listen. The album is spruced with upbeat, folky numbers, and slower crooning tunes.

"When did I become such a cliche. I'm so ashamed. I've gone ashtray from where I began." - from "Traffic"
