On April 17th, the day after you've purchased your exclusive Record Store Day vinyl/CD releases you'll want to listen to them, right? Therefore, I'm hosting a Record Store Day listening party so a group of music loving people can gather to listen to new music and some old, too! The idea is to bring your RSD releases, and any of your favorite records. We'll listen to them together and talk vinyl like the music loving nerds we are....
I also want this to be an opportunity for us to swap/trade records and CD's. I think this will be a great chance to get your hands on new music while trading off ones you don't want anyone. Music needs to be shared and this is my way of bringing us together. Please do your part and bring at least two CD's or 1 vinyl to trade off. There might be some vinyl up for sale, too.
I want to encourage folks in Brooklyn to come out. I'm heavily involved in the music scene there and it would be cool to give back a little and have some of ya'll hang at my place.
This will be at my house in Newark, NJ. I'm just a 10 minute walk from Penn Station. I can also pick people up at the station. There's also safe parking on my street and around the area.
The time is tentatively set for 3pm. Snacks and drinks will be provided. Comment with any questions. Hope to see you there!
