Lemuria sign with Bridge Nine Records

Bridge Nine Records have announced the signing of Buffalo's Lemuia. The mostly hardcore driven label had the following to say:

"It's important for us to have a diverse roster of artists and we feel like Lemuria compliments a lot of our other bands while standing strong on their own accord. We've had Get Better in rotation in the office here for a while and after adding two hardcore bands to our roster, Mother of Mercy and Foundation, we decided to change it up a bit and sign Lemuria. I think our roster really mirrors our collective musical tastes and it's always exciting to expand on the types of music we release."

The band is set to release their second full-lenght, a follow up to 2008's Get Better. The band said the following via their Facebook:

We are happy to announce that we will be collaborating with Bridge 9 Records! We are going into the studio this July to record our 2nd full length album with J. Robbins from Jawbox and Burning Airlines. Robbins has also recorded great bands like Jawbreaker, Braid, and Jets to Brazil. Bridge 9 is composed of great bands and great people, we are honored to be working together!

Additionally, the 3-piece is also scheduled to tour this summer. Area dates include June 3 in New Brunswick, NJ and June 4 in Brooklyn, NY. This Friday the band play a sold out show at The Trocadero in Philly with Screeching Weasel.

We give a warm congratulations and all the best to Lemuria.
