Bloomington's folk-punk 6-piece Defiance, Ohio have announced a July 6 release date for their new album, Midwestern Minutes. It will feature 11 songs. It was recorded and mixed March and April 2010 by Mike Bridavsky at Russian Recordings in Bloomington, IN. The tracklisting is here. According to bassist and vocalist Ryan Woods, the release will feature more piano and Wurlitzer, plus upright bass on some songs.
