Take the soundtrack of a John Hughes’ movie, mix it with a little Gary Numan, and a dollop of The Cure, stir well and what you’ve got is a ball of new wave fury that is NYC’s LIVING DAYS. Made up of members who formerly played with Matisyahu, Coco Rosie, and Lee Scratch Perry, Living Days now have a new album coming out called Make Out Room (release date TBA).
Living Days performs at the Knitting Factory in Brooklyn on May 22nd, as part of the NY Eye & Ear Fest. The fest features Blank Dogs, Passions, Liturgy, Loose Limbs, Mirror Mirror, and many more bands. Tickets are available here. Living Days perform at 8pm.
