Tourmaline reminds us that everything's alright. The Fairfield, New Jersey band who recently underwent a few personal and band changes has released three new songs for free download. The first song, "Save Me," is a somewhat optimistic song about barely holding during a hard time and hoping that someone will come to the rescue. Other songs include "Fat Pigs" and "Lions." Overall, the band's gathers three rock jams with funky bass, interesting guitar, steady keys, and passionate vocals with each song taking it's own tone. For fans of MC5, My Morning Jacket, Elvis Costello, and Soundgarden

The band said the following regarding the songs:
The events going on in our lives definitely influenced these new songs, but I wouldn’t call them dark. We’ve all gone through loss of some type in our lives, and my hope is that the songs can be the light at the end of the tunnel—the rock that helps you cope and make every day better than the one before.
We again worked with Grammy-winning, multi-platinum producer Joe McGrath (Morrissey, Green Day, Ryan Adams, B.B. King) on the new material, and we absolutely could NOT be prouder of it. My good friend Jason Gleason (Further Seems Forever/ActionReaction) lent us his amazing voice, doing backup vocals on most of the songs.
