Join The Pantry Party at The Knights of Columbus on 84 Lincoln Park Road in Pequannock, NJ this Saturday, March 5th featuring performances by Cabin 49, The Invicible Lines, Chris Aiello & Kevin Romoser, Lazy Sunday, and D-Tox aka Julio. Artists Jocelyn Ortega, Wendy Strauss, Keith Stanley, Joe Scordo, and Chris Rowland will also present their art. The show is all ages, begins at 7pm and costs $10. Bring canned goods. The Pantry Party is hosting its first NYC based show on Saturday, Aug. 21st at the St. Marks Cathedral in Bowery. The party features music and an art exhibition featuring folk-rock bands Alex Bleeker & The Freaks, Free Advice, and Four Visions. Admission is $10 or a $1 off for ever can of food you bring in. Bring $10 cans and get in for free. All proceeds go to St. Marks Pantry. 131 E. 10th Street, New York City.

On July 23rd The Wayne Firehouse is hosting the 6th Pantry Party, an evening of music and art featuring Julian Lynch (from Ridgewood), Family Portrait, Maeraki, Silver Lining, and DJ Dazzelships. Admission is $10 minus $1 for every can of food you bring.

The Pantry Party is a not-for-profit grassroots movement aimed at showcasing local artists of all types while helping to alleviate the food shortage in so many food pantries and soup kitchens nearly devastated by the recession.

The Wayne Firehouse is located at 97 Parson Drive in Wayne, NJ. 7pm. All Ages.
