The Prettiest Meltdown: hardrock flair (free download, NYC show on Thursday)

Free Download: The Prettiest Meltdown- Just Go

The Prettiest Meltdown sound just like what you might imagine, a band that mixes the pretty with the crushing lyrically and musically. From first listen their song, "Just Go" starts with a vibrant creeping bass over some keys and a softer sound where vocalist Danielle clearly and honestly sings, "No, I'm not angry. You disappoint me. How could you do this / you knew what I know / don't you dare fucking touch me. Just go. JUST GO. JUST GO." This is a song about wanting someone to go away. I think we all have someone in our lives that we want to go because they hurt us or aren't the one for us. The song goes back and fourth from a dominating bass sound to a guitar crunch. Danielle continues, "I've lost everything since then, made me an emotionless mess. At the end of my rope I'm spread so thin." With some hardrock edge, some keys, and a few screams the song finishes off with some with the words "Just Go."  The Prettiest Meltdown remind me of Flyleaf. Listen to the song above and click on the song for a free download. Ya dig?
