The Prettiest Meltdown sound just like what you might imagine, a band that mixes the pretty with the crushing lyrically and musically. From first listen their song, "Just Go" starts with a vibrant creeping bass over some keys and a softer sound where vocalist Danielle clearly and honestly sings, "No, I'm not angry. You disappoint me. How could you do this / you knew what I know / don't you dare fucking touch me. Just go. JUST GO. JUST GO." This is a song about wanting someone to go away. I think we all have someone in our lives that we want to go because they hurt us or aren't the one for us. The song goes back and fourth from a dominating bass sound to a guitar crunch. Danielle continues, "I've lost everything since then, made me an emotionless mess. At the end of my rope I'm spread so thin."
