Punk Rock Benefit for Japan Relief in Brooklyn on May 7 f/ The Suzan

Amy Klein of Titus Andronicus and The Suzan have organized an all-night punk rock benefit for Japan Relief at all-ages music venue Knitting Factory on Saturday, May 7. Come out and support. The show goes until 3am.

Japan All Night! will also feature Japanese food and flower arrangements, homemade ice cream by Spoon’d (http://www.spoondicecream.com/), art, jewelry, and crafts — all for sale to benefit Second Harvest Japan.
Second Harvest Japan (http://www.2hj.org/index.php/eng_home) brings safe, nutritious food that would otherwise be wasted to the over 650,000 Japanese citizens who need it. The organization is a vital source of food for people living in the disaster zone.

I'm pleased to announce Permanent Wave's next Sound Wave performance series on April 28 at the all-ages D.I.Y. venue Shea Stadium in Brooklyn, benefiting the Center for Reproductive Rights. Details below. We want to bring together people from different areas of the New York D.I.Y. scene for a fun, informative, and lively night--even in New Jersey---that's where I'm coming from. So if you can please come out. Our first event in Brooklyn raised over $500 for the Center Against Domestic Violence--let's try to double that.
