5/13 Blood Bunny (Dance) Party: The Suzan, WOJCIK, Not Blood Paint in Brooklyn
Remember why you were given feet this Friday the 13th at Union Hall in Brooklyn for the Blood Bunny Party when you dance to The Suzan, WOJCIK, and Not Blood Paint. You'll get something a little different from each act but your toes will be tapping nonetheless. The first band plays at 8pm and after the show is a dance party with DJ Matt Heart Spade. Sounds like a hot night. More details available here: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=143711129032183&ref=ts

Permanent Wave Presents: Quitzow, PS XO, Wojcik, Faith Reason, Brooklyn 4/28
I'm pleased to announce Permanent Wave's next Sound Wave performance series on April 28 at the all-ages D.I.Y. venue Shea Stadium in Brooklyn, benefiting the Center for Reproductive Rights. Details below. We want to bring together people from different areas of the New York D.I.Y. scene for a fun, informative, and lively night--even in New Jersey---that's where I'm coming from. So if you can please come out. Our first event in Brooklyn raised over $500 for the Center Against Domestic Violence--let's try to double that. Check out this simply hot track from our headliner, QUITZOW that the Owl Mag posted right here. See you soon!

WOJCIK
WOJCIK is a 2-piece from Brooklyn with a keen, garage rock sound. Their EP The [VOY-chek] is available for free here. Their site aptly describes Geoff Lewit and Hailey Wojcik music as mixing "fuzzy, Midwestern Gothic, garage sound with memorable pop hooks and biting lyrics, which tell stories of relationships gone awry." Tomorrow they play at Don Pedro's, 90 Manhattan Ave, between Boerum and McKibben in Brooklyn! 9pm. $5.
